[BodyAll Pelvic Rolling (Neutral Spine)]
This method, also known as "Sit-Bone Sitting," is a core technique for maintaining proper spinal alignment while completely relaxing the body. Once you master this posture, your BodyAll correction treatment is successfully complete.
- 1. It must be performed while sitting on a chair. This is because the angle between the legs and torso should be approximately 90 degrees.
- 2. Pelvic rolling is impossible in car seats or overly soft sofas.
- 3. It is impossible while sitting cross-legged.
- 4. If pelvic rolling is impossible, you must use a lumbar cushion.
The reason is simple. As the thighs and abdomen get closer (e.g., bending the waist or lifting the legs high), the pelvis rotates backward. This pushes the lumbar vertebrae out and causes the back and waist to hunch, making it impossible for the spine to move into the correct position.
- 1 Feel the sensation of the hard bones under your buttocks, known as the Ischial Tuberosities (Sit Bones), touching the surface.
- 2 Gently roll your pelvis forward so that the front part of the sit bones makes contact with the seat.
- 3 Use that point as your center of gravity and completely relax your entire body.
- 4 You are successful when there is no excessive tension in any part of your body.
This feeling of maintaining proper spinal position without force is very similar to the sensation of using a cushion. Since the sensory acquisition is paramount, we strongly recommend receiving direct training from our medical staff.
